Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » How bed bugs are changing the world
Bed bugs recently found in two patient units of Columbus Hospital
(4 posts)-
...the problem, which has been eliminated, was not ... a health threat...
1. Whom did they use as "bait" over the two weeks that it typically takes for treatment to work?
2. What happens in hospitals that are overcrowded to begin with and can't close a unit down?
3. If people avoid hospitals out of fear of bedbugs, it's a health threat. If frail people get overwhelmed treating their home from bedbugs they picked up at the hospital, it's a health threat. If people with bedbugs are refused health care (or whose home health workers walk), It's a health threat.
We should both go to sleep.

No kidding, my friend! :-)
I was here until 5 am this morning trying to get the login to work on both blog and forums.
(So you can now effortlessly comment on the blog end of things, if you like!)
But not now. Now go to sleep!

Most hospitals also use the cheapest pest control companies possible, so I"m sure they just assume that they are gone. Check on this story a year from now. I would be suprised if indeed they are gone...
