I just happened to notice an "item" on CP24 (24 hour news station in Toronto). They have scrolling text news items under the TV news show picture. This one said:

"New research shows bed bug infestation is a nuisance but not a health hazard."

YEAH, I'VE GOT NEWS FOR THEM!! IT'S A BIT MORE THAN A FREAKING NUISANCE!!

Besides the financial cost of treatments, replacing furniture, possible moving etc. etc., the "non-health hazards" are copious amounts of STRESS and ongoing psychological scarring. Not a health hazard. My ass!!

OMG, did it really use the word "nuisance"?

This infuriates me! My neighbour who killed herself would certainly classify it as a lot more than just a nuisance! Not a health hazard...??
