That's really interesting -- I was not aware of that and none of the articles mentioned it. That suggests inter-building travel.

It's not surprising, Penguin didn't come out and announce that they had bed bugs. And the two companies are in different industries so AgencySpy isn't going to put two and two together, although Gawker should have. I have an ex who works in the same building -- should I be sending him tips on bedbug prevention?

If you are on friendly terms with your "ex", I think it would be very thoughtful to send him bedbug tips and suggest to him that he also share them with his co-workers. I think it is no co-incidence that the two companies are in the same building, and so it is not an exaggeration to think that it might spread to other units.
