Anyone on here who got bedbug bites on their head where their hair is? Just curious whether they like to bite there or not

    jimmypop2008,
Yes, I did. The back part between the ears, up toward the top.

Ya know I've wondered that as well. I get bumps that start from the bottom part of my ear but on my neck and on my jaw as well. I would get these from time to time even before I knew of bedbugs. I always thought they were adult acne. (Hairsray, blush make up etc..) Then when we had our infestation I took them as bites. Now it's been so long since my original attack, I still get these around my neck by my ears and jaw an cheek bone area. (I haven't worn make up or hairspray now in quite some time) Sometimes they bother me and feel irritated but that could be because I have long hair as well. I hope it's a skin condition and not bites.

other than itching not sure how you would be able to see a difference between acne and bites on the hair since you can't see well enough

I guess if you're in doubt, look for blood spots on or near your pillow, or of course if you turn on the light and see one crawling across the pillow just after you feel a bite. That might be evidence that the bed bugs are biting you on the head.

I seem to remember that most of acne I had turns eventually into a head that can be popped.
The ones that I had on my head did not.
Observation. I remember seeing poop near a slat in my bed frame under the mattress. At that time I did not know it was poop and I remember saying to myself, self I don't remember that but it must of been there from the factory and I just don't remember it.
Until the infestation population grows I think that the most poop evidence may be at the harbour sites.

paulaw0919 --> i've had itchy areas like you're describing (especially the jaw line) for YEARS off and on, and i wear very little makeup.. my mother also gets that, and also has for years. Just thought I'd mention it because I know you're having a tough time with fears of more bedbugs/still bedbugs/etc. It could likely be completely normal, just like it is for us. Skin is weird sometimes.

Bugsbite....You just gave me that big, warm fuzzy, feeling inside. (Not to get too personal now..:) But really...I have gotten these for a long time too. Honestly, probably years before we had this bug thing going on. We've just had to fight these bugs for soo long I don't know what is what anymore. I actually started to wonder if we had the bugs for years before we knew (which is crazy, in our situation I think)
I have had a couple of bites that made me wonder so I logged them on the calendar. But no signs yet. The ones on this thread I didn't log because I don't want to start to get overly paraniod and think everything is a bite. (I went downstairs to change over the wash and I noticed a dead mosquito on the floor that I just washed earlier today..I never thought I'd feel so good to see a dead mosquito before.)
I did make chocolate Halloween cupcakes with my daughter a few days ago, but of course in the state of mind I've been going in and out of, that just did't come to my mind until now.
It's such a relief to know that someone else gets this acne bump thing like I do.
Thanks so much for sharing that with me.
