Bed Bugs - Advice needed

   I've discovered that there are bed bugs in my room ....
   I live in the attic room of a 3 floored town house, moved here 4 months ago...

   I informed my landlady about the bugs and she freaked out.
   She got a quote from the exterminator and its going to be $1700 for the entire house.

   There are 2 other bed rooms, kitchen and living room. She want to get the entire house cleaned, even though there are no bugs in the other bed rooms.

   As there are no bugs in the other two rooms, they've decided that I'm main reason for this entire mess and hence I've to pay all the $1700. I don't think its fair.

   If I try to argue, they're saying they didn't need to go through the pain of vacating the rooms, washing their clothes and getting their rooms cleaned.

   I may be the reason for causing the bugs, but I don't know if its fair to put the entire extermination costs on me.
   I am not sure what to do. Advice please.
   I appreciate your help in advance !

   You have to check with your local laws and find out your rights as a tenant. Companies do things differently so if you can I would check into all possible treatment options.
