Hey Everyone, been trolling this awesome forum now for the last couple hours as I am a little concerned that I may have a bed bug issue... I returned from holidays 2 weeks ago and think I may have brought some critters home with me. I tore my room apart the other day and couldn't find any actual bugs, shells or red or rusty staining on my sheet (that weren't related to the few scrapes I already have on my legs...) but I did notice this black staining on the bottom of my box spring. It seems to only be where it comes in contact with the frame or where there are staples holding the mesh in place. I checked the frame itself and there doesn't seem to be any actual remnants of bugs or fecal matter but I figured I would get your thoughts. Also, I didn't see any staining or evidence inside the box string in the wooden corners.

The reason for my suspicion is that I've had a bunch of itchy bumps on my arms and abdomen that I've been told by a doctor aren't bug bites but I'm hesitant to believe him as it sounds like doctors don't always consider bed bugs....

(The black spot on the wood in one of the pictures is just some kind of fuzz.)[img]http://https://ibb.co/fNivvk https://ibb.co/fkkKMQ https://ibb.co/idNzMQ https://ibb.co/gxquMQ https://ibb.co/cw5TgQ https://ibb.co/iRk5T5/img

    Hi,

Nothing in what I can see of those images is bed bug related.

    Hope that helps.
