Found this guy in my living room tonight and did a little photoshoot, his shape might be a bit different from before I smashed him with a glass but I hope that's not a problem...Is it a bed bug?
It seems a bit like one although it doesn't have any hair as far as I can tell, also isn't as shiny/glossy - only between the "scales" but I HAVE to be sure...and quick if possible, could really use some sleep lol

btw, there's lots of them on my terrace between the cracks in the floor, they get inside when they can, I found about 5 of them dead by the terrace door while cleaning the house last month

Beautiful pictures of a crustacean. It's an Isopod, called a woodlouse. More closely related to crabs adn lobsters than actually to bed bugs (and other insects). Notice body structure, all the legs and compare to a bed bug picture. You have to be able to rely on your ability to ID certain creatures.

Yes I see it now, just wasn't sure if it had this shape before I smashed it. Freaked out a bit here with all the furniture and new mattresses brought from different places. Thanks a lot,off to bed now
