Are there any Bed Bug victims suffering in silence in/around Halifax Nova Scotia?

I am looking at getting a bed bug dog and handler down from Toronto to Halifax – (http://www.puritypestcontrol.com/, also check out the link to his dog featured on the Discovery Channel - http://watch.discoverychannel.ca/clip160539#clip160539).

Unfortunately there are no such services anywhere in the Maritimes!

Obviously it will cost a fair bit to get him here on the train/plane and into a hotel, but if there are any people out there who would be interested in employing the services of the dog to assist in your bed bug issue, then please contact me on the following email address bedbugshalifax@hotmail.com

If a few of us are able to get together and split the costs then I think it will be more than manageable.

Please drop me a line - bedbugshalifax@hotmail.com – and we can look into dates/times that Purity Pest Control could come and help us all.

    Thanks

You might want to check in with this thread and respond every few days for a week or so, just to keep it active, since it's a time-sensitive concern.

from what i understand ocean towers in halifax has had a bb problem for years, not sure if they ever eradicated them or not. perhaps post a few flyers around or inside of those buildings? i don't know of anyone in hali who currently has a bb problem, only people who have had problems in the past. i'll keep an ear to the ground though and point people this way if i hear of anything.

    Thanks lil_bit_obsessed,
If you know anyone please direct them to my email - bedbugshalifax@hotmail.com
If we can share the cost and all get to employ the services of the dog then great!

Hello! Happy to say there is a fellow in Dartmouth who has a bed bug dog now! He has been great giving me information and I'm very much considering using him. His name is Brian and is at least worth contacting. As of a few weeks ago he was going to charge me $130ish for an inspection, so that's an idea of the cost. Better than more treatments that you're unsure about.

He has a website at Bed bud Detectives . ca
