Bed Bug? Cockroach nymph? (Picture)
(5 posts)-
I'm not sure if I've figured out how to put a picture in here but I'm going to try.
I found this bug stuck to double-sided tape by the bed. I cut out the piece of tape and I wish I'd just put it in a ziploc bag but instead I put clear tape over it and kinda smashed it. Also I don't have a very high-quality camera but I did the best I could.
It looks something like the picture of the just-fed adult bedbug; it is elongated like that. But on the picture of the just-fed bedbug you can't see its legs. This bug has pretty big legs sticking out on the sides. But maybe that's because I smashed it a little with the tape. The bug also looks a little like a picture of a cockroach nympth that I found.
If the picture is clear enough to tell anything, can anyone tell me what it is?

Looks like a small cricket. Not a BB.

nope no way is that a bb, it has big legs. BB's legs are compact and under their body and they are so small, they are as thin as cats whiskers. Good luck, and your so lucky that it wasn't a bb!!

I confirm, it's a cricket nymph

(Jim... you're becoming an entomologist... ;-))I'll take educated amateur.
Seeing as that Odd Beetle confounded everyone. Was I correct on those factors that made me doubt it was a BB? Actually I'll have to get pics of the old roach nymph casting I found on a screen last night.
