Bed Bug?
(10 posts)-
This bug was found during the day moving well kind of quick so I am not sure, but here are some pictures of it:

I am pretty sure it a roach nymph. Has those little stubs of a tail.

I never thought I would be so happy to have roaches, had bed bugs years ago and they still scares me.

Those pictures don't look like roaches either, the head is flat and round. Who knows it's not bed bugs that I can also clarify.

If an entomologist or PCO says it isn't a roach then I would like to know what it is. This looks like a second instar of a pest I finally eradicated.
All things consider, to the naked eye on a quick look, the first instar of this can spook the BB veteran. I found an old cast skin of this and had to get under the 20X loupe to be sure.
Are you an entomologist or PCO DF?

One morning I had one after another little whitish bugs, dead on matches for the 2 shot I copied, coming out from under my cutting board that sits on some antiskid foam.
Lifted it up and there was a roach egg case, a larger roach and a buttload more little nymphs roaming around.
While hurling tons of profanities I killed them all and since I had sealed everything in the BB war I was puzzled and then it dawned on me I missed the gas pipe and anything behind the stove.
Sure enough yanked the stove out and found lots of roach droppings and other evidence. Got busy cleaning, dusting and sealing.
Using knowledge and the duster leftover from the BB war I attacked the kitchen full force with boric acid and placed gel bait.
Roaches no more.
