Just wondering if ANYONE knows of ANY STATE that offers assistance to someone that cannot afford to have their home/apartment/shelter/church - treated for bedbugs? I have spoken to a few people that have them, and they cannot afford to treat, so they just deal with it. It's tough to see, especially if children or the elderly are involved, and I would like to know if there are any resources out there..

    noitch...

NY does not. No help. DSS used to help but I have been told by the Dept. of Health they no longer do, at least in Erie County. And NY is pretty liberal. Don't know about other states, but I suspect not. It needs to be on the political agenda.

    peace-

I understand this is a tall order, but I know that people nationwide read this..I, myself, am from Florida, and at this point I know we don't really have anything in place. Which is sad, because there are alot of people that cannot afford the treatment.
