I thought I could spray a mist of alcohol on it. Wouldn't it just evaporate? I don't know if it's got bugs but just in case...

91% alcohol will only kill bed bugs you spray directly--it's a "contact kill." So unless you can see and hit the bed bug directly, it is not likely to help. (Sure, in some cases, we can't actually see them, but might hit one.)
On a laptop, it is my sense that spraying any kind of liquid on your electronics is dangerous. Since it also probably would not help, I would not do this.
