I am moving soon and am thinking of having my items Vikaned before going to the next apartment. I contacted Bed Bugs and Beyond and am waiting for a quote, but I read that some people have had negative experiences with them, while some have used them and been really happy. I was wondering if any posters here have had success with Vikane could recommend a specific company in the New York area? And a ballpark figure for the price, if you don't mind. Thanks!

I am in the same boat! Please keep me posted. I just contacted Bed Bugs & Beyond for a quote on Vikaning a moving truck. I am not sure what to think of them. I am not sure if we should use the pods that moving companies provide...

So, yes... any recommendations for vikane in NYC?

    Thank you.

I'd also be interested in any recommendations for NYC vikane treatments. I am not planning on moving right away, but within the next 6-10 months I'm guessing...luckily my building is not strict on breaking the lease, so once I can afford to have the vikane treatment and pay all the new fees associated with a new NYC apartment (with NO bbs!), I'm out of here.

We live in NJ, but the company we used is set up in Kearny, which is definitely close enough to the city to be considered. I posted about Royal Fumigation in Kearny - just search in the forums to see what I wrote. Added bonus - much cheaper than bed bugs and beyond, and I remain bed bug free!
