Any Entrepreneurs out there?

I was looking up on home depots website for pesticides for we have to get something for the exterior of our home. I wanted to get an idea of what was out there before heading out with the kids. Anyway, when I plugged in pesticides it brought up a lot of mosquito fighting items. I looked at this one and found it pretty interesting. It produces heat and CO2. It also states to have a type of quiet vacuum to suck the pests into the trap. Too bad it has a light that would probably deter bed bugs. Would be nice to have some sort of tracking device to detect an early infestation. I'm sure Minnesota also has something like this in the works but I just found it interesting.

That looks very interesting.
I was always bit in the day, so , maybe the light will not defer.
Maybe a pco here can answer. -
Hi,
Interesting device. I am almost tempted to order one to have a look at.
I don't think the current format would work for bed bugs for two main reasons:
1 They don't fly and the opening of the trap is well above the ground level.
2 The holes in the mesh look small enough to let bed bugs out.
Although small Bed Bugs do appear to have great still in clinging on to surfaces in the face of the vacuum cleaner. I doubt the suction would be enough to draw in a Bed Bug given the fact that I have to modify my cleaner to get them strong enough to suck up Bed Bugs.
It is however an interesting idea and might be worth investigation to see at a see if its possible to modify it. Shame its likely to be 120V rather than the 240V we run on in the UK.

I will say -those bb demons do have super human legs. I found one in a mouse glue trap. It is VERY sticky to touch.
Like Glue. Any how, when i first found it, it was at the beggining of the trap still alive. I put the trap in ziplock to show the pco. Before he came, I decided to take a photo. He looked like he was dead now, however had moved to the center and was in the black writing with the logo, so the picture was not able to read. A day later , I looked again and he had moved to the other end of the trap. Now fianally dead. He had walked the entire 3 inches in that very sticky glue before he died. I am affraid to look again.
Super legs of steal, i say. Scary....What a hellish creature. -

I was thinking that if a modified device could attract the bbs to it, an electrical mesh or something that the bugs would have to touch or walk on needs to be added which would shock them to death like a Mosquito Zapper.
