I'm in Denver, Colorado, and it seems all the companies with bed bug locating dogs are on the coasts.

Rumor has it that occasionally some dogs travel across the country inspecting hotels. I am wondering if anybody with a bed bug trained dog (preferably one that sniffs out only live bugs and eggs) might be in the center of the country any time soon and might consider a side job inspecting my house.

We have not yet seen a bug. We had a PCO identify bb cast skeletons and "trails" in a couch that we discarded at the beginning of the process, and just found an apparent harborage in the bedroom smoke detector very recently. There is no clutter in our home. I took the "nuclear approach" early on and got rid of much of what I owned. So we are a very tidy place.

We know the bugs are not limited to the bedroom, as we have been bitten in one other room for sure, and we suspect a third room.

We must have very few bugs, so locating them is quite challenging. That is why we could use the services of a dog!

If there is anyone out there near Denver, we'd love to hear from you. You can PM me through this site.

    Thanks!!

Let me know if you hear anything -- I'd like to hop on this bandwagon as well!
