    Hi Team -

Had no bites for a week, then got new ones yesterday & today. No visible signs of BB yet although there were various signs weeks ago when PCO came.

Starting to see ants running along the window by the bed. These new bites are single & small. Original "BB" bites over a period of 6 weeks were big welts which, after swelling went down, revealed themselves to be many bites in clusters.

    Questions:
    (a) possible that nymphs or baby BB would make these smaller bites? or fewer bites?
    (a) are there ant bites which (a) might be single like this, and (b) could survive all this toxic poison?

In the past 2 months we have sprayed the cr*p out of my apt, can't imagine that there are any more BB living in there but of course I know that's possible.

Will include pics of bites when I get a chance.

    please help
    thanks

    bbb

There is no definite correlation between bed bug life stage and bite size, severity or appearance.

    Bite reactions vary.

I do not know about ants.

    hi bunny,

the bb bites that i have had in the past were large and welty, similar to how you describe yours. but i was bit by an ant while working in the garden the other day (little bugger) and it left a small red mark, not as large as a bb bite. it itched for a few minutes and then stopped, and has only itched sporadically since. depending on the type of ants you have in your apt, the bite reaction could vary, but it is possible that if you were bit by an ant that the reaction might be slightly different from a bb reaction.

OK, thanks - the closest thing to these bites (other than BB) was when I got bitten by "fire ants" in puerto rico. Insanely itchy. The ants I've seen this week are much bigger than fire ants & they're not red.

Oh, well. Who really cares. I guess I will wait for signs of BB.
