Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Uncategorized

I came home from my dorm recently and treated every last thing I brought with a Packtite with almost a ritualistic degree of carefulness. (I even circled the packtite with DE). However, I've continued to notice a few welts popping up on my elbow. Since I've only been home for a little over a week, I'm sure its just a delayed reaction to bites I received at my dorm.
But...I found a little bug crawling on the floor and I can't tell what it is, and now it has me freaked out. Would someone have a look and put my mind at ease? I'm almost positive it's nothing, but I've become a little deranged. Thanks...

Not a BB. Looks beetleish. Nice shot and I'm positive it isn't a BB but one of our entomologist can give you a better answer.

Surely a beetle... maybe from family Alleculidae

What antennae!
(As stated above, not a bed bug. I'm only reinterating that because it seemed kind of rude to post something that was all "Wow! Look at that bug" if there was any possibility in my mind that that was a bed bug. There isn't any doubt in my mind that it's not a bed bug--just like the others said.)

Just look at this Click Beetle ;-)

Ok, I realize two in one day is really pushing it and I'm probably wearing pretty thin on everyone's patience, but I've been doing an extensive search of my house and I turned up this crushed sample in the carpet. I'd be very appreciative if someone could have a look at this one.
Thanks!
Anthony

Mmm... surely not a crushed BB... I guess it maybe a crushed ladybug, or something similar

Thank you very much both EffeCi and Spideyjg, you've both been extremely helpful. I can't thank you enough.
