This might be too old and dried up to ID but my spring break is winding down and I finally got to check behind my couch to clean and I found this. The first one is the scariest one.... :( These are all the same bug, just different angles (the underside) and lighting....

Sorry to be a pest with the pictures. (no pun intended...ugh). Anyway, it occurred to me that a picture of it near a penny might help with size comparison

I'm no expert but that looks like a squashed pillbug. Doesn't look anything like the bugs I've found during my recent problem.

Oh my word, thank you BOTH so much for your responses. I barely slept last night since I posted it. Was tired and stressed all day and called 3 PCOs, two didn't answer and the 3rd charges $300 for visual inspection.

Jim Danca, you've made my day!!

The best picture would be a close-up. Don't really need the object next to a penny for size comparison. As was noted, it's not a bed bug. It's an isopod also known as a sowbug.

Hi Lou, thank you so much!!! I know, my phone doesn't take the best pictures and I don't have a digital camera. The closer I get the more out of focus it is. :/ I appreciate your time and help!!
