Is there a time line of some sort that would help one feel resonably sure they are not or are no longer infested? How long after pest control treatment? How many pest control treatments? When does one know?

I think 60 days with no bites or other signs is the common wisdom.

Bless and thank you musical note: "bug tired", but is that a "think" or a "know". I prefer one to the other. A false sense of hope I cannot endure.

I realized today that I think the last signs I had were maybe in late August or early September. I forget. But the engagements, DE and Hot Shot have worked. After I killed the couple of strays on the cieling, that was that for weeks before i went more extreme. Maybe they all were dead or they are dormant in the walls of my old place? I threw out my encased mattress and box spring and marked them. Tossed nearly everything in my room and bought new as I moved, reencased the new mattress set and nada. I sleep peacefully. No bugs, no bites, no blood spots. And I proactively set out DE in case. But nothing in the new place yet. Feeling good. Kept my steamed and dried clothes and a dresser sprayed, dusted with DE and steamed to death. No problems since. But I still inspect and wander on here to see if there's anything I should be aware of.
