AAA Superior and Thermal in NYC
(4 posts)-
Hey,
This is my first post but I have been reading your forum for the past month or so. We just discovered we have bed bugs. It has spread to our apartment from another infested apartment and although the other apartment claims to be bed bug free, we are having a very difficult time ridding ourselves of these pests! It's been a nightmare and we decided to try thermal. Have any of you used AAA Superior for thermal treatments? Is there any advice you can offer us? I am afraid we'll have a lot of damage....anyone experience damage with them? Lastly, will this rid us of our problem once and for all! We plan on taking very strict preventative measures after the treatment to avoid going through this again! I feel for all of you! This is a nightmare but we are determined to win the battle!

First, I would suggest clicking the AAA Superior "tag" I added above right, to see other threads on the company. Also, you can then click "thermal" to read about people's experiences with thermal treatments.

I already did look through the older posts but there doesn't seem to be any recent posts of people that used AAA in recently and more specifically for thermal. It would be helpful to hear from customers who have recently used them and to see what their experience was with the thermal treatment.
Thanks.

Hi Bugsdrivingmemad,
I called AAASuperior when I was considering thermal remediation in August . Peter came down from Pa. to see my place and fill me in . His main concern for treatment was that the tenant below me (elderly guy, like 87) didn't have bbs. Old building, cracks/crevices/20 years of nyc gentrification happening all around the tenements left standing. My landlord consented to run a K9 team through this apartment--negative-- but this happened maybe six weeks after Peter came down to size up the job. BTW I'm footin' all the bills, I am blessed with rent control in nyc-- we're likely a dying breed-- the down side-- expect nothing from the LL.
AAA Superior emailed me a price of 2800. for thermal remediation. The prep work is different than chemical treatments. The owner is active here on the boards here. I don't know where you are located however I've read in the forums that California has more experience with thermal remediation. They used it before the BB epidemic to treat termite.
If you have not already pursed this course of treatment I would recommend a consultation with AAA Superior. Just recalled the founders name...Jeff Klein.
