Hi! We had bed bugs last year and I encased all of the beds in the house. My dog decided to pee on my sons bed I know that I can't take the encasement off but can I clean it with an Upholstery cleaner? I cleaned it with a rag, soap and water but I wanted to use an actual scrubby tool that uses soap and sucks up the water. I didn't know if this was safe to do? Thanks! Kristen

What fabric is it made of?

The one you buy when you buy your mattresses could handle it; but not the one you buy in walmarts. The pressed fabric (the dotted one grocery bags are made from) will break down.

Also, check the company's website. The internal "plastic" coating can sometimes be affected by the kind of cleaner chose as well.
