    Hi!
New here.... Hoping you guys/girls can help! I have bites on my BACK and abdomen, occasionally on my neck, never seen a bug... I LOOK!! No fecal stains but blood smears on my sheets... Been using DE for a Month.... still getting bites show up and blood stains! have couch legs (where i've stayed since my first suspicion) in double bowls with soapy water. Also steamed the couch... What's going on?? HOW is this happening? (since a fire puts of Carbon monoxide and warmth, wouldn't a fire in the fireplace of a chilly house draw them out?)
I have dogs, they seem to be itchy too. Please help!

You could have bed bugs in your home.
You could be reacting to bites you're picking up elsewhere.
You could be reacting to something else.

Our FAQ should give you a decent introduction to what BB are (and are not) and how to detect and fight them.

Not certain what effect a fireplace would have, but an interesting question.

Yeah I know! I read and read and read! OBSESSIVELY!
LOL! WISH I could find SOME Evidence besides BITES! I steamed the couch, took the bottom fabric off and blew DE all inside with a hot Blow dryer, put DE in all the seams very thoroughly... dusted the house with it.... HOT Wash and over dry everything... Funny no bites on my face, hands, arms, feet... might have had a couple on the ankle, leg.... no fleas, my eyes are bad and I'm not rich... do you really think those passive detectors work?
