A Look on the Bright Side
(3 posts)-
With the sharp increase in beg bud problems, there's a lot of money to be made by developing new and improved tools and treatments. Perhaps we'll be seeing this down the road. From what I understand, it seems that there have already been some new products in recent years.
By the way, as I was writing this, I FOUND A BED BUG ON MY ELBOW! The first live one I've seen. Sitting in my Ikea chair in my living room with the light behind me on. I felt something on my arm and took a look, now that I'm in the habit of checking every little itch I get. There he was, getting ready to dig in! Even worse, he jumped off my arm and escaped! Can bed bugs jump? Maybe he got flung off when I let go of my skin or something.

I think its a case of necessity is the mother on invention, a prime example of this is PackTite, it fills a need for personal decon and ensures you can make sure you bags make it back from a trip bed bug free.
With regards jumping bed bugs others have said they have seen them but in all my years and cases I am yet to witness a bed bug jump. If you have not seen any cast skins or faecal traces it may be worth putting down a plug in flea trap to make sure its not a rogue flea in the property. Don't forget you don't have to have pets to get a rogue flea into a property and its a lot more common than people think.

I was told they can't jump, that is why they tell you to isolate your bed, they can however fall from the ceiling which to me is just as creepy and mortifying!
my huge Cali King bed is now in the middle of the room its weird to see it like that!
But with all the health issue this has been causing me....I don't care how it looks, just leave me alone
