So the supposed last and final treatment was this past saturday but I am wondering about the residual effect of the chemicals and how long I should wait before mopping the floor.

They had used a combo of suspend and gertol. I had been mopping the night before they would come for the next treatment but since they will not be back any thoughts about how long I should wait would be much appreciatted.

I keep a very clean apartment and could easily go 2 weeks if need be (as long as I can vacuum until then).

    Thank you in advance.

I believe this site has info on that. Do a search. Can also search for data sheets and call the companies directly and speak to their entomologist and chemists.

I haven't mopped since I was last treated in the early autumn. My bedroom floors are all bare wood, so sweeping and vacuuming have been enough for me. I am sure the Suspend's residual effect is long gone, but I can't bring myself to wash away my lucky chemical coating! I guess if I were sane instead of a BB survivor, I'd say 60 days ought to be as long as anyone could hope the Suspend to remain effective.

    buggeroff,
I would clean your wood floor with Murphy's oil soap with ORANGE, spray straight out of the bottle, I do not dilute.
I bought Bedlam and I use to and still do on occassions spot treat areas such as wood bed joints and I treat baseboards etc...
Steam is also good but before you treat with chemical not right after because steam will break down the chemicals and don't forget about DE.
