I had my home treated for bed bugs three times this summer. I finally was bite-free for two weeks when I got a bite on my neck. Not getting anymore bites I decided it must have been some random other bug, but now here it is three weeks later, and I have yet another bug bite on my neck. I have no signs of bed bugs, and my bedroom is still completely stripped down and bare of anything other than the bedcovers and my nightgown, but I'm worried. Thoughts?

Sadly, even after being treated 3 times, and with no signs of bedbugs, and with the room completely stripped down and bare of anything other than the bedcovers and your nightgown, you can still have bedbugs. If the bites on your neck seem to happen while you are asleep, and they look similar to the bedbug bites you had before your home was treated, it sounds like you still might possibly have (a hopefully very small number of) bedbugs.

You can try contacting the PCO who treated 3 times and see what they suggest at this point. You could try a bedbug dog which is a very good way to detect the location of a small infestation, especially where you might not be able to have visual confirmation since there are so few. You could look to the possibility that some new bedbugs may have been reintroduced to your environment since you were treated. You can also wait, but it sounds like it did happen again and you didn't imagine it.
