4th treatment today

After the 3rd treatment I awoke to find a bb that was full of blood! LL and pco guy thought I was crazy, but I kept the evidence!! I think the pco is tired of seeing me, but little does he know, Im tired of having to see him too.
My 4th treatment took place at 9:00am and as soon as we walked in the room there was an adult bb sitting on the side of the mattress. The pco guy lifted my boxspring, and found small holes in the encasement! He had put the encasement on before the first treament, which was only a month ago! The pco told me that he wasnt going to put another on, and Im thinking why did you put one on that had holes in it in the first place? He called hisself fixing it by putting tape over the holes. Im just over all this!
First they think Im imagining the bites after the 1st treatment, and now that I have evidence, its like they are mad at me b/c they have to come back. What the hell? Now he is telling me that I am bringing them in from somewhere else, and thats when I exploded!! I have taken EXTRA precauctions to make sure that I donot cause a reinfestation...I threw out all of clothes, my son's toys, blankets, pillows, shoes, books, and alot more personal items..I havent visited anyones house..we have had no guest...my whole life has changed,but yet he tells me that Im bringing them back in because he doesnt wanna do the work!!
So after all that, he reccomends that we sleep in the other bedroom, hmmmm... The first time he came he told me not to move to another room, but yet now he prefers that I have to sleep in the next room. They are really confusing the hell out me...when all is said and done they get to go home and relax, and Im stuck here crying and confused to why this is happening to me. -
I really do know where you are coming from!! I fell the same way why me why didn't anyone tell me to take some precautions!! The only advice I can really give you from one mother to another!! !! you have to stay Strong keep your head up and remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel!! I think the tape on the encasement is a good Idea(depending on the kind it is)!! I did this!! they can be pretty pricey to replace!! It keeps them in !! I am stuck in the house all day and cant even have company!! so I can really fell where you are coming from!! It is really really hard!! Are you getting anymore bite is the treatments working at all!!!! It can take a long time depending on what they use to kill all of them!! do you know what they are using!! welcome to this not nice world of BB!! Remember Stay strong!!

Thanx Watkinsnewan! I'm trying to stay strong; When this is over... lol..I havent even thought about what to say about that! uhm, I know he was using "Bedlam" on the bed and furniture, but Im not for sure what was in the big container that he was spraying the floor with..maybe asking would be the smart thing to do, so I will find out next week! How long have you been dealing with BB? I hear ya.. I know my son is going through it with me..he doesnt quite understand why we have to live with so many precautions, and I just think that it is so.. unfair for kids to have to go through this! Im trying to see the light..somedays are good and others like today, I just wanna breakdown..but, Im hangin in there, besides I have no where else to go :)

some times I fell stuck on stupid!! I have been dealing with them for who knows how long I have known what they are for about three weeks!! I self treated about three months ago with bombs!! big nono!!14 in all in the attic too!!!!I have cleaned like a mad woman!!! My kids think I am crazy!!All these restrictions!! No more three sec rule!! I used Over the counter self treatment which has done good so far but I have A PCO coming out Friday to start the process!! I went through 4 or 5 companies before I found the one that did not give me the creeps and who knew what they were dealing with They are also guaranteed by a anthropologist!! If I am not cleaning and prepping for the pco I am on the computer trying to find out every thing I can about these booggers!! I have broken down before I found this site and found all the info I could and adjusted the techniques to be kid friendly!!BB have dominated my life !! They say there is purpose for every living creature!! I found one that does not have that purpose I wish they all would DIE!! Just remember too This process is going to take a while to fix!! Do you know where you got them!! I got them on a flight out of SF!!
DO you live in an Apartment or a Single family home!! -
I live in a townhouse...I got them from my neighbors(our units connect) They had been staying there for about 5months and then all of a sudden they left, leaving most of their stuff in the house.(not surprised) I believe that my LL knew about the infestation before I called. A couple of weeks before the bites started I saw a cheap exterminator going in and out of their house..so I decided to ask him if they were gone and he replied "Off the record, I believe they are, but they left behind their stuff." So #1-my neighbors just picked up and left
#2-they possibly left because of an infestation
#3-a "rinky dink" exterminator going in and out of neighbors house
#4-mysterious bites..took son to Dr.-misdiagnosed said we had scabies
#5-Did the horrible scabies treatment( bites got worst)
#6-Found my first BB
#7-AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The BB dog did BBs nextdoor..so all I can think of is that when they left, and the " " exterminator sprayed some cheap stuff in their house, they came running over to me. It upsets me b/c I know my LL knew about the whole thing, but she just tried to keep it on the hush, not really knowing that she was making the problem worst.
Watkinsnewan, it breaks my heart that our children have to go through this. I try not to panic or yell when the whole BB rules arent followed..it breaks my heart to see his face when I yell because he laid a towel on couch, or leaving his school book on the floor...or when I had to throw all of his toys away..just the look on his face, and I have to say that I had to do it because of bugs; OMG this is by far some of the dumbest S**t I have ever heard of. your right Watkinsnewan, I see no purpose in these bugs either..Its sad that a bug can drive you almost insane -
This really sucks!! I think I siked my self out over the whole thought of how they can be spread I was just up searching around every where I think they are getting to me!! I saw none and haven't been bitten in a while BUT I an felling a little like A dope fen, paranoid schizophrenic with my handy flash light!!Haven t seen any in days but I fell like they are going to come out in force!! cant sleep!!Didn't eat dinner!! I think I need a warm glass of milk!!~~BB SUCK!!~~don't LL's suck too!!Why can't people just come clean don't they know it will all come out in the end!! I hate it that you had to move in to that kind of situation It really sucks!!I hate the scabies thing tooI had to do that when I was a teen!! I have see a lot about how you can get re infested when you live in apartments!! especially when the LL does not do the right thing!!I am sure nobugs the host of the site can give you better advice than I can about that!!I didn't throw any of the toys away I went out bought a Probe thermostat (from Walmart)and soaked all the toys that I could in the tub I had my husband turn the water heater all the way up and The water in the tub got to 150degrees!!I washed all the stuffed animals and dried them for almost two hours and bagged them up air tight 30 gallon black bags!!I washed and dried( for an hour and a half) 80% of my and the kids clothes an put them in vacuum sealed bags not to be opened till after the second treatment or we are declared to be BB free!!!! we can live with 20 % of our clothes!!I told everyone and anyone who will listen about what is going on!! I think people are starting to think I am mad!!especially my hubby!! Pleas don't throw any more stuff away!! there are ways you can decontaminate it!! They have a pack tight!! I think I spelled it right!! You can steam clean some things!! I even put my alphabet refrigerator magnets in the washer twice just to be safe!! some things you might have to throw away but anything that can go in a washer and there are a lot can be decontaminated can be decontaminated!!! Poor kid! !I really makes me sad too !! I HATE BB~~I struggle my whole life to give my kids nice things an some F@@@@@ up bug comes in and tries to destroy it!! I am NOT going to let them win I will hunt every one of them down and tape them to the wall if I have to!! I am really really scared of any kinda bug!! This is what I do to any bug till someone comes home to get it!! hang in there!! God knows I am!!Ok ill stop rambling!! Sorry!! I just cant sleep right now!! All I had on my mind was BB!!

Watkinnewan I know what U mean..I havent slept good in about two months now, but its something I dont wanna get used to. The reason I had to throw most of my stuff away is because the set of rules they gave me were to bag everything and keep them away from my unit after the 2nd treatment..I had no money to get a storage and could not find another place to put my things...I have a small car, so I was able to keep my son's clothing, towels, shoes,and about 2 ziploc bags of his toys..and unfortunatley I had to throw what coulnt fit in the car away...which was about 40 garbage bags full..no lie! Im gonna keep fighting too...you have given me more motivation to keep going...I wish my family and "so called" friends would help me see through this as well...it has really been only my son and me throughout this whole struggle..he's my little champion...Although these bugs serve no purpose at all, I have really came to see that the people around me could give a d@mn about what I going through...But its ok, maybe we will be able able to invent some kinda rid BB thingy and become rich..lol..sorry Im getting too far out there!

LOl BB thingy!!yea like when you go to build a house you can install pipes in the floor's and walls that generate enough heat when needed to kill these things I have heard that heat t works on killing mold too!! I think I have said a prayer or two for God to just flood the earth again!! I also saw a floating bed thing some where in the thread!! also do you think that you are getting re infested cause a the apartment next to you!! I know that they can fit through a crack as tiny as a business card!! so if the house is not properly caulked and sealed That is where you could be getting them from too!!

The sad part is that I have had 4 treatments and they only treated nextdoor once. They have put new carpet in and made it look nice...When they pulled up the carpet, they left it sitting outside on the porch for almost 2weeks...I was furious because Im doing all I can, and they are taking no precautions what so ever to make sure that it doesnt spread...I feel sorry for the people who are about to move in...I saw the landlord and the future tenant walking in..he was so happy, and seemed satisfied..I just wanted to tell him DONOT MOVE HERE...because I know that they are still in there because thats where they started at..These townhomes are full of cracks..the only thing that this pco have done is sprayed and vacuumed only once..they claim to be one of the best in the U.S. but I havent seen much effort into actually eraticating this problem...I have done my part to the fullest..my lease is up in April and I just want the BBs to be gone before I move...come to find out, there has been "much" problems with BBs in this neighborhood from units that doesnt even connect...I find that really odd...I just wish I knew who else over here is going through this...they are trying to keep it hush hush so that we all dont get together and take her to court because she is the most insensitive person that I have ever met...I hope she soon realize that this company is not taking all the steps in trying to get rid of these BB...The pco told me that I must be doing something wrong because they are known for eraticating the problem after 2 treatments...when he told me that i was so mad that I had to walk outside before I told him off..I have done research on this company and they "seemed" to be proffessionals.During my 3rd treatment the pco was applying "Bedlam" in the seams of the couch and said "Oh, BBs are pretty much immune to this stuff. One time I was spraying and they just moved over like it was water." I was thinking, then why the H#ll are you using it in my house? Im with ya on the prayers! Day and night...

1st *the PCO says his company is the best in the US*if the pesticide does not work then how can his company be the best in the US
2nd*Is he treating the whole complex!!*if not then he really cant get mad at you since you are not the problem it is the LL for not having him do the WHOLE job just a band aid!!*
3rd**does he know about the remodel in the joining apt*an how they are the ones who could be re infesting you
4th*WHY ARE THEY SPRAYING PESTICIDES WITH YOU IN THE HOME!!from what I understand you are suppose to leave while they are spraying and 4 hours after!! leads my to think that the chemicals are spraying are not strong enough!! But that's in in my opinion!I am not the professionalNO BUGS,PCO"S and all others can you give her some more advice or correct the ones that I got wrong!!
Oh when you move there are options for you to get rid of them I really cant get in to it right now I have to get the baby!! -
Itold him about the whole situation with the remodeling...I guess he figures that Im not paying him so my opinion and comments doesnt count...He knows about nextdoor because he was the one who treated it...today, my son has 10 new bites..I cant do anything but cry..my bites are not nearly as bad as his, so tonite Im going to put him in the other room to sleep..now it seems as if it is getting worst..at first the bite count went down, but this week it is as bad as it was before the first visit by the pco..at this point im not sure what to do...Has your situation gotten any better? what steps did your pco take?
