Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Bed Bug Success Stories
4 months all clear in new apt
(4 posts)-
just wanted to check in and report NO BUGS in my new apt, and i didnt bring any with me. yahoo!
There is info in my other posts about the process that i used, but in brief: Packtited everything, anything that didnt fit in packtite got left behind. moved using plastic bins, one small batch at a time. this was long and arduous, and made my summer hell, but it was worth it.i still have climp up interceptors on the bed, and white sheets, and probably always will.....

Great news Surrounded! I'm so happy for you. Yes, our lives are different post bb's, but hopefully that means if anything does cross our path again, we'll know immediately and deal with it. You made it!!!!

How long will you wait before you open your plastic bins?

I cooked everything in the packtite before i put it in the bins, so it is all clear. I used plastic bins because i was too paranoid to use cardboard, bugs love cardboard.
I still have some things in ziplocs, they will probably stay there for 1 year.
by the way, you can bake leather in the packtite without damage, if you put a lot of mink oil on in first.
