So I open any boxes and other containers before putting them in. Plus, you need to put the temp probe in there somewhere.<br /> Also, yes, you can use ziplocs in there. However it will dry them out a bit. Remember, there is glue in most books, but that hasn't been a problem. I found a lot of dead bugs in my books after cooking them, and in CD notebooks. For me, better to have dry books than BB. Well, tonight I found an old, dead bb in a book! It was on the inside of the dust cover.</p> <p>I was flipping through my books pretty quickly, not really expecting to find anything, but there it was. I read another post by someone who said he never found a bb inside the pages but did find them on the edges, spine, and inside the sleeves; so I made it a point to look there, and that's where I found one.</p> <p>There's no way I'm throwing out my books, and packing them for over a year isn't an option; so it looks like I'm getting a Packtite. Anyway, can you put boxes of stuff in them? I imagine so, since you can put books in them. And I take it boxes with packing tape on them are ok? What about Ziploc bags?? It'd be awesome to be able to put the bags in there instead of having to take all the stuff out. </p>
