I've noticed that NY1 news has started running ads for bb extermination during its morning broadcast. Perhaps because the problem is epidemic in NYC some of the stigma of bb infestations will wear off and more people will get help for the problem in the early stages.

Now we just need to work on getting accurate information out on how to avoid the problem in the first place.

Ops subtle flaw in that one, avoidance is education and its hard to charge for.

I remember when this site was first up and we were all brainstorming about how to get the word out, make our politicians listen, get attention for this problem. I called the MTA and found out how much it would cost to advertise, how to go about it etc. This site had no advertising on it and we could not raise the money to pay for the printed advertisements to place on subways and busses.

Last week there was an sign in a subway car that said "BED BUGS - THEY ARE BACK! it was advertising for bed covers.

we have come a long way.

thanks nobugsonme!!!
