Same experience with Terminix. I would never recommend them. Had them and another pco my management company recommended and both were awful. Find one you like and trust. We are very fortunate to find one that we like.

My PCO that came and sprayed my first treatment on friday, use to work for Terminix. He didn't have anything good to say about the company so that is why he switched to The Bug Man. I was worried at first that he wasn't going to do a good job because my apartment management is paying for it. And the fact that I have never heard of The Bug Man before. He did a good inspection and then started spraying and didn't have a problem spraying areas I asked him to go over again. He said that Terminix is over priced and continued to tell me how much The Bug Man charges vs. Terminix. Which to me was a huge difference. Terminix was either way expensive or The Bug Man is way cheap. I have only seen one live bug though since he sprayed and I haven't been biten either. But it has only been 4 days since he sprayed. Other than that I don't really know much about Terminix.

I posted a few days ago; I live in an apartment and have a bad bedbug problem so I wrote a letter to my landlord to complain. Surprisingly enough, he responded the same day he read it by having Horizon Pest Control do a free evaluation yesterday. A guy came in and stripped the beds in my bedroom and sure enough he found live bugs and shells. Well, today my landlord got another company to come and right off the bat, the guy struck me as fishy. He didn't even search to see any bugs for himself, he just asked me if I had seen them before and showed me a picture of one. Then he gave me a list of things I need to do in order to prepare for treatments. He seemed to be in a rush and instead of telling me what methods and chemicals his company will use to deal with the problem, he just kept asking me who is going to pay for the service. I know that duh, he wants to make some money but it seemed like he cared more about that than actually taking the time to explain to me what he is going to do. He also said that it's going to take many treatments, it will be very expensive, and very difficult. But he said I should be seeing results from the very first treatment. I found that a little odd too, doesn't it take at least two treatments?

I live in North Jersey and the company my landlord decided to use is Terminix. I looked it up on the internet and their website has vague info about what chemicals they use (unless I didn't search well enough) and I found another site full of complaints about this company. I don't know what to do because I really want these bugs to be gone for good, and I'm not paying for this, my landlord is so I feel that I can't tell him what to do with his money. But this Terminix guy just didn't seem too professional and I don't want someone coming here doing a half-a$$ed job. Does anyone have any experience with Terminix? The first treatment is supposed to be this Friday.
