If you have a scanner - taping the bug down to the scanner might work. Look for the enlargement options in the scanner software.

I am trying to take a photo to upload for identification; but I can't get a clear one. Tips would be great. I have a wonderful bug specimen, its wiggling on a piece of tape. It's either a small roach or a bedbug; tear-drop shaped with a mostly colorless body. For simple description: The bug can be divided into 3 sections: head section - the pointy part (appears to have antennae), leg section (six or so colorless wiggly legs), and rear section (colorless with an uneven dark center, has ridges). Doesn't appear to have wings. I KNOW we have roaches; unfortunately we also have either scabies or bedbugs. Any way to definitively tell the difference between roach nymphs and bedbugs?
