Maybe each manufacturer would design a cover for each model that would fit around the keys well..like, tailored....The lap top would have a kind of condom....Hey...what's so wierd about that? Computers get viruses, don't they? </p> <p>heyyy..i just took a very thin plastic bag that i have been keeping for Lord only knows how long. I slipped it onto my lap top and i'm typing throught right nowwwwwww...work's great...so i think you can use a thin clear bag like you get from the cleaners and secure that around your lap top and voila...lap top prophylactic!!</p> <p>This works great...no more typos than normal. leave it a little loose and i wouldn't tape it to the machine, but tape plastic to plastic.</p> <p>Also, if there are any bugs in your computer, they will be kept in there...</p> <p>ohhh..one problem i didn't think of, the heating aspect. I suppose it won't be good to have the computer running for a long time while it's covered by plastic. I don't think I've gotten any bug bites this week - I think it's too fast for me to have stopped reacting to bites. And not many "bites" (aka itchy spots that are questionable). So either way, the frequency in bites has diminished, which makes me doubt an infestation. Hopefully.</p> <p>I can't bring myself to unpack that laptop, though. Trying to figure out how to do it in a way that will leave me peace of mind. But i've never seen a bb near or on the laptop.</p> <p>As for skin reactions related to sun screen...i think it's entirely possible. I have one sun screen that i always used without a problem until my mom picked up something made by one of my favorite companies (i won't name it here) which i think contributed to those face pimples i was complaining about around the time of my bb treatment. I have been the only one in the family consistently experiencing bug bites, but this isn't entirely out of the norm. I spend time outside kneeling in the garden, in the pool, on the deck, etc and I do tend to be a magnet for bugs. Still, I became concerned I had BBs because sometimes the bites make no sense.</p> <p>In the past week and a half I have had - probably no confirmed bites. Some itchiness, bumps, but nothing like a bug bites. the stuff on my back seems to be related to sunscreen, according to my doctor sister. None of the itchiness is even remotely like the bites from earlier. I have never spotted a BB. </p> <p>One thing - the only thing- that I did was place my laptop in the laptop bag and cover the zipper end with Scotch tape, fearful there were bugs in it. I looked at it again this week; it did not look like the tape would trap nymphs, the opening is too big. But - even if it did - what are the chances an infestation would be confined to a laptop?</p> <p>Just some random questions. Wondering if it's something other than BBs. </p>
