As an individual, it might be considered a "casualty loss", you might want to research that angle. I am attempting to take this opportunity to get my real estate agency and land lord involved so that at least they can understand the danger of these miserable little insects (how expensive and troublesome they are to treat), ask questions, and see how prep is done.</p> <p>I began wondering if pest control (especially multi-unit buildings as the apartment I am in) can be wrote off as tax-deductable or wrote off, or whatever I am trying to say? (Can some of it be declared in a way that it saves the Land Lord money?) I like my land lord - he's been great with service for me in the past but I know he has NO idea about these insects at all. I'm in New Jersey - if the laws here about such things are different then in other places. I am of the belief that providing as much information as possible as early as possible will help my situation (and possibly my neighbors, and the LL himself as well) alot.</p> <p>- New Blood. </p>
