I believe it's off label use, but I've read about people doing that.<br /> I think you have to leave them in there for 2 weeks so it kills anything that hatches. Or run the suitcases thru the Packtite. She had on this guy who was talking about how education and prevention was the way to go (bravo, I thought, someone's getting it right) but then he showed how you were supposed to vacuum out your suitcase after a trip, and <strong><em> then he didn't tell viewers to throw the vacuum bag out!</strong></em> So, if anyone follows his advice and actually vacuums up bed bugs that were in their suitcase, they will surely spread them all over their house faster, if they don't bag and toss that vacuum bag! </p>
