It's the software.</p> <p>I am not trying to be difficult. Most people do not expect every post they made to be deleted when they move on from a forum. It becomes a collective knowlege base only because old conversations are still here. If you ever used the search function, then you may have benefitted from this feature (or lack of features).</p> <p>If someone has a genuine need to delete things, I try and accommodate them.
