fightbbs, the picture you posted is not the best for 100% identification. Having said that the color is definitely wrong for bed bug eggs. The shape is way off(eggs or cast skins), but you mentioned that this is a picture of 3 or 4 things together correct? If so you would need a better quality picture to be sure. In my opinion this is not bed bug related. As far as yellowish coloring I have seen bed bugs produce a beige or light tan excretion after being feed, but this would be the same size and shape of fecal matter.

thanks, Killer and Bugboy---I'd really be happy to agree. I'm just concerned that I've read that these can be yellow-ish before the nymph has hatched, and this forum's (very excellent!) series of photos shows them with a grey-bluish tint (http://bedbugger.com/photos-of-bed-bugs-and-signs-of-bed-bugs/). The ones I found are sticky, about 4 are clumped together, and were on a xerox that had been clean a few days ago. If these are bbs, I will presume that the infestation was worse than I thought and purchase a packtight (I have a ridiculous amount of books, papers and xeroxes which cannot be tossed). If these are not eggs and I remain bite free for the next two weeks, I will begin to tentatively hope----3rd and hopefully last chemical treatment was 2 days ago. But I am so jittery about bringing things back in,

My question: w/o a packtight, and IF these are not eggs, is it okay to bring things like books in one by one, checking carefully? Am I to paranoid or not being cautious enough? If it is eggs, and I still check carefully, can I bring things in?

I can't make out what it is because the picture is small and not in focus.
I will say it is not anything to do with Bed Bugs ... From what I can see.

I'm in week 7 and three treatments later of fighting a "mild" infestation. 99% of my belongings are outside, and I'm in the slow process of checking items before moving things back in. I found these on a xeroxed map inside a box of books. Book items were in my home office, not in bedroom (first site of the infestation) and these things were NOT on the map when I packed them up earlier this week. I have become O-C about checking everything going out and coming back in! Could those of you experienced with this weigh in? I have inquiries out for a local entomologist from my local Uni, but no one yet, and my PCO does not believe that I have bedbugs. I am concerned about these, as I have found what I think to be sheddings in some of my office books, although when I showed these to the PCO he said they were not bedbug indicators. Thanks!
