Wow! Thanks for the encouraging update!
Did you store the furniture somewhere, or were you able to use it while it was wrapped up?

We used it...I was not going to put my furniture out in my garage and take the chance that rodents woudl get to it. We threw blankets on the furniture over the plastic to make it a little more comfy and it worked!

I was absolutely horrified exactly one year ago today when I was told that I had Bed Bugs! I had never even heard of them before! After several treatments to my mobile home, i realized for my sanity, I had to get out! So we did! I was told that I needed to throw out my brand new furniture! This was something I did not want to do and didn't. We moved, were very careful to INSPECT EVERYTHING that we packed and made sure that when we unpacked it OUTSIDE our new home that we inspected again! This is very important...I almost brought one into the new home inside a book..yes, inside a freaking book! As stated before, I refused to throw away my brand new furniture, that at the age of 33 was the first new set in my life I was able to buy! So..instead...I purchased the thickest plastic I could find and literally wrapped my furniture like presents! I took each cushion off and wrapped it. Did the same to all the living room furniture. I kept it wrapped for about 8 months! I am happy to report that we are now bb free. I know this is not the recommended but for us...it worked.

I really know how stressful bb can make your life. My life will never be the same. I look at every bug in my home now. I get totally freaked out by going to garage or yard sales now. Every mark on my body sends me into a full blown panic. Just keep the faith and know that eventually....it will end.
