Thanks. Yep confirmed by a pest control specialist. For clarification i never spent the night there.... I went to visit her newborn baby, and a few days prior she had been in my car, and also returned a pair of maternity jeans and the book what to expect when your expectiong. so yes they do cling to people or their things. i never was there for more than an hour. I hate her. I wish i could sue her for knowingly exposing me. It would be one thing to have called and say im sorry, i just found out i have bed bugs. But to tell me when we are laying on her bed. I cannot believe i am dealing with this during christmas, eight months pregnant. I now have to notify my preschoolers school, throw out all the christmas presents that have been hidden in our closets, lose the leather furniture that doesnt have removable cushions, and has a few rips from my cats claws...the loss is building already. what about the crib and cradle? the baby matress...i dont think they will spray that stuff right? i am fearful for my sanity, i am depressed, i am being a horrible, distractted crying mother and my daughter is scared.ugh.
i have to go puke now.

You could have a BB here, it has fed but it also looks half dead. You may have a hitchhiker and your unexplained welts could be from when you stayed at her place. Not all people react the same when biten and with the raging hormones of pregancy it could be a delayed reaction. But there favorite feeding spot on me was my legs and my arms.

As for the cat BB's don't travel on animals so don't worry about kitty.

You say the outlet is about 5 feet away from the bed, mine were about the same distance in a stereo speaker and if there are old signs get SOMEONE ELSE to take a vacuum and suck that outlet out vacuum the room for YOU and then monitor it to see if they reappear.

Please take a few deep breaths praticing for your blessed event that is to come and get the rest you need. I am sure one of the guys will be on in the morning. Get some sleep.

Thanks P Bello, unfortunately thats all i have, the thing was obliverated by the time i got done looking at it and flipping it over to compare with pics on this site. plus it was dead and wet, then dried out. I should have put the thing in some alcohol and went to bed like my husband kept begging me to....Ill have to wait and see i guess...i am curious what are your thoughts on it, with the disclaimer of it being a bad pic? Thanks again for taking the time, I do appreciate your time and compassion!

Please help Me,
A friend recently informed me while we were LAYING on her bed that her apt complex was infested. She offered this info only because i recognized all the bites she had. She also had recently returned my maternity jeans and book to me, both from her apt, which were in my house and car for a about five days prior to me learning she was infested. I am 8 months pregnant and have been flipping out since. Literally on my way to being "Checked in", not only because of the fear of bb, but also the thought of a newborn in the mix. i am suposed to be on bedrest and now spend my days checking the bed with flashlights etc. I have found some suspicious spots, and did see one clear tiny nymph on the bathroom wall by the outlet which was gone by the time i got the tape, and i have since convinced myself it was a book louse. inside the outlet were some spots looking like fecal matter, but the professional said while it looked like it could be , if it were it was very old and not likely they would hang in the bathroom. (keep in mind it is 5 feet from our bed) I have climbups on our bed, and only caught what i thought was a clear spider the first night, nothing since. (looking at pictures now im not convinced it wasnt a nymph) From day one of this nightmare i have been feeling like im being bit, and cant tell if it is psychological or not. i do show an occassional red mark w a hole in the middle on my leg, or mostly my belly, but since they are not the big welts, i am not sure and i AM very pregnant, so of course it is itchy anyway. yesterday this bug showed up in the bathtub after my hubby showered...i think the cat brought it in (he always drinks the left over shower water drops) or it fell out of the towel he used when he pulled it out...it was already dead, and in sorry shape, and has since fallen apart so now i cant even send it off somewhere...The only thing i know for sure is it is not a flea. The legs of it were crumpled underneath, and the pincher looking antenae may be legs crushed forward, or broken antenae. i fear it may be a 2nd or 3rd instar. the pictures are under a 5x magnifying glass. please help me identify before i go insane. and if you can tell me why or why not it is or isnt a bb i would love the education. ty
