If you know for sure the neighbors are infested, then you may have hope. I would try calling the Department of Housing and also the Health Department. Keep in mind that there are laws which apply to people who own their own homes. If they had a yard full of rats, it would not be allowed. Keep persisting and asking who you should speak to.

Betty, you've been through this before. You know the ropes. That puts you ahead of the game. Please hold on to your sanity. Can you get away for a few hours? It's nice outside these days - walk and sit and watch others and get back to appreciating being alive. The trees are beautiful this time of year.

Hi BettyV4:

Your situation is not that common yet - most often it's apts & condos that are posting, but your frustration is shared, for sure. Your circumstances - semi-detached home - will become more common as the number of bedbug infestations continue to grow. I have a semi-detached house, so I can understand the extra level of complexity this adds. I know it's difficult to find people who can relate to your experience.

I will send you a PM as well.

So as it goes - almost 2 years of bb's with small repreives. Attached house with neighbors who won't treat because of lack of money. I've tried everything - spoken to congress people, lawyers and because they are their own landlords can't do anything. I, however, have done everything possible on my end. Now, they are back. I can't remove my living room carpet at this point because there isn't money left to do that. I keep vacuming like a bed bug zombie. So here's my plea for help - are there any suggestions before I completely loose it? Has anyone had bugs for a really long time? Am I alone in all of this insanity? I feel so unique that nobody understands that I need some kind of help. At least to keep my perspective on the fact that bb's are not bigger than life - that they don't have the power to kill me or my family - but more than anything - I can go on and live a life and keep this situation under control. I believe i can do that with Ceasure and willingness. Please guys help.
