Hi NoBugs

Yes, the frequency did change. Before, I'd typically get 2-3 individual clusters on my torso and legs. After the spraying happened, even though it wasn't really successful, the number of bites dropped to about 1 (or 1 cluster) a night, regardless of my location. I can go "bite free" if I don't spend a lot of time at the computer or keep the lights on at all times. Otherwise, I will end up with a few on my feet and ankles.

I've seen two (flat, so unfed?) good-sized adults. One was next to the desk and the other was on a bureau in the bedroom. So I know they're there, but our bite frequency has gone down. No promises for the next few weeks, though, since we're not getting sprayed again. I do have emergency Bedlam...and I have to admit that I applied it liberally to the floor around the desk, the chairs, etc. after getting bit there. The residual probably is helping as well.

18 more days until PureHeat comes to save the day!

Fearful -- did your frequency of bites change? How many were you getting/how often before this time?

If you are being bit once per day, you have at least seven bed bugs, since they bite about once a week (approx.)

I am curious about the lights -- others have found that if they leave the lights on, bed bugs will bite anyway. That was my experience.

Helpme9999 --

How many treatments did you get and how far apart? Did you let the PCO know the problem was persisting? Do you have attached neighbors (row-house, apartment neighbors, etc.) who may have bed bugs?

If you have seen several bed bugs this month, you may have many more and treatment should be ongoing.

Fearful_and_Buggy - 1 week ago »
The number of bites I've been getting has been reduced to about 1 a night while I sit at my desk. That can drop to 0 if I leave the lights on. (I hate being bait and I need a break sometimes).
Does that actually mean I have a mild infestation or are they all hiding?

Did you ever get your question answered re: number of bites correlating with number of bugs. I really need help. I have done everything to get rid of them. Thought I did, but this past month I have found four, two in my sofa and two in my bed; different nights. Was biten once. Am terrified. And it is a fortune to exterminate; cost me 1,500.00 and they still didn't get rid of them. SOMEONE HELP
