Building management admitting problem publicly, posting notice.
Notice asking for bed bug reports.
Notice reminding tenants secondhand mattresses are a no-no.
Notice is building-wide even though only one unit has apparently identified a bed bug problem.

According to Channel 12 WKRC in Cincinnati (doesn’t Howard Hesseman work there?), residents at the Hillrise Apartment building, which is owned by Cincinnati Business & Professional Women’s Retirement Living Incorporated, are suffering from various issues including bed bugs.

The Times-Colonist reports that three rooms in Victoria General Hospital’s pediatrics unit were “sealed off” for bed bug treatment last week. Bed bugs were found in three separate $3000 sleeper chairs. Though the article notes they were slated for replacement anyway, that really is a large price tag.

Fox19 reports “City Establishes Bed-Bug Furniture Pick-Up Procedures and Hotline.” (Hopelessnomo drew our attention to this in a comment, but I wanted to make sure everyone saw it.) Cincinnati now has a hotline people can call to have infested items picked up by garbage collectors.
