Bed bugs apparently love lawyers.

Above the Law received a tip today that the New York City offices of international law firm Winston and Strawn have bed bugs:

This morning a tipster reports that Winston & Strawn associates woke up with bedbugs, not personally, but professionally:

“Employees woke up to a recorded message, at like 5 a.m., saying the NY office is infested. Wasn’t clear if they’re supposed to go in anyway!”

Winston and Strawn is located at 200 Park Avenue, just east of Grand Central Station.

Above the Law has tried contacting the firm with no response yet, so let’s call this one unconfirmed.

Is there any approved pesticide known to kill bed bugs?

Lots of pesticides will kill bed bugs, but getting rid of this pest is more about skill and knowledge than simply broadcasting a spray. This is partly because they are hard to kill — so finding them and removing them as much as possible makes a big difference.
