Hachette Book Group (which is located at 237 Park Avenue and East 46th Street) has three floors which are infested with bed bugs, according to the Wall Street Journal. Their offices are closed and they’re undergoing “aggressive treatment” Thursday and Friday, the Village Voice’s Runnin’ Scared blog notes.
Other publishers which have fallen prey to the red menace include Penguin and Scholastic.
Maybe that hits a bit close to home for Gawker, who are no longer feeling quite so copacetic about bedbugs.
Note to Gawker: those aren’t bed bugs illustrating your article.
Know your enemy, people.
It’s the only way. (Look at some photos of bed bugs and signs of bedbugs.)
Be warned, bedbugs will infest almost any kind of workplace.

The comments on the Gawker post appear to be getting more intelligent. Description of traumatic insemination and a reference to “Killer Queen”. Did not see any “just wash your sheets” or “put up a bucket of dry ice, or something”.
That is good news, Ci!
