The Jersey Journal reports that a man in West New York, New Jersey went to the Board of Health to complain about the bed bug infestation in his home.
According to reports, Guillermo Enriquez, 60, of West New York, went to the Board of Health, which is located on the second floor of Town Hall, at 428 60th St., on Wednesday at 3 p.m. to complain about a bedbug problem.
Enriquez became very angry and agitated, and decided to show the employees “what the bedbugs had caused” by pulling down his pants, police said.
He was arrested for lewdness.
If bed bugs have made your life a misery, complaining to the local Board of Health is not a bad idea. However, we don’t recommend Mr. Enriquez’s approach!
We’ve heard of people marching in with jars of their bed bugs to demonstrate the degree of the problem. Now that’s a good way to get attention.
Perhaps the best route for this man would be to plead bed bug-induced-insanity: if he does indeed have bed bugs, the lack of sleep can make you do some crazy things.
