AgencySpy reports “there may be bed bugs at MediaVest”

Media Bistro’s AgencySpy blog says that there may be bed bugs at MediaVest (whose New York City office is at 1675 Broadway).

AgencySpy shared a memo which said that employees on two floors were being evacuated for Thursday and Friday of this week, until bed bug treatments could occur on the weekend:

Unfortunately I’ve been told that all employees on the 7th and 13th floor are being asked to work from home tomorrow and Friday — in advance of treatments this Saturday. No live bugs have been found — however for a building this size, this is standard procedure.

The memo also clarified,

This is not an emergency — just a smart precaution.
