Killing bed bugs with heat is not as easy as you might think. It takes a certain temperature for a certain period of time. I would question whether a 1/2 hour would be enough; 130 F for several hours might do it. But I don’t know more than is included here:

Not too many bites. 2 or 3 at a time, so I imagine there aren't to many bugs. We are leaving tomorrow for a new apartment and are worried about transporting bugs with us. I had toyed with the idea of heating our suitcases and bags (empty) in the sauna for half an hour or so. What do you think?
