Lyn,
You can call the health dept. in that town and report the bed bug infestation (tell them the hotel name and room number).

You can also contact a lawyer, but we're not lawyers and can't give legal advice. You might get some ideas in the FAQ about legal issues (which outlines previous court cases). Click FAQs at top and look for the "legal issues" section.

Finally, did you take any steps to make sure you did not bring bed bugs home? If not, you may have only a few, but they can spread and infest your home. It's worth taking steps to avoid that. The FAQs should help. Go to the forums if you have questions (forums button at top right: click on the blue bug).

A friend and I stayed in a hotel in S.C and were bitten by bedbugs, I wasbitten over 100 times. I've tried to contact the Management, because of the pain and suffering and I wasn't allowed to go to work for 2 days, i didn't sleeo for about 2 weeks, I kept thinking something was biting me and got no response. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks and the bites have left permanant scars on me in a few areas.
I need help, what can I do? I am stressed and upset and need to have something done.
Can anyone help me?
