I am sure most of us here understand that sentiment!
Unfortunately, we’ve heard bombs and foggers can make them spread out in your home, rather than killing them.

I’m losing it. I replaced my bed, carpet, bombed my room, vacuum and spray. Still they get me at night. If ever I catch one (yet to actually see on so far), I will keep it alive and torture it for the rest of its life as it has done to me. I have flat-mates and wonder why they never get bit. I don’t like them much either.

I don’t know why they didn’t mention the fact that they can live without blood for a year or so.
