Good news: forums fixed

Well, I think we should all experiment a bit with the forums.

The blog is a place for posts and related discussions.

But you can post your own questions on the forums. If you have a “tale of bed bug woe” or a question of any kind, start a new topic on the forum. Click the big bug button in the sidebar.

Important: if you have a login here (you can “register” in the sidebar), you can use it there. If you have one there, you can use it here. But on the blog, anonymous posts are enabled, whereas on the forums, you have to login to write. (Anyone can read.)

The forums are not exactly how I want them, and they will be seeing some improvements in time (as will the blog), but it’s a start, and it is now fully functioning.
If, in a few weeks, you have major gripes, I will rethink using another forum software.

Fair deal?

And remember, you can go to the forum, but don’t forget to come back. 😉 I’m working on those links.

I am noticing a lot of questions from newbites posted in the forums today, but
so far I’m the only one me and parakeets are the only ones answering them. (I have responded to a few, but can’t keep up). If folks want to try the forums, and you end up not liking them, we can scrap the idea and go back to Tales of Woe. I think we should give it a shot first, and then decide. But I welcome your feedback on that.

furums sure. good. I, like many, am just now starting to use blogs and feeds: hence I didn’t even know where to find the rss feed button. (sorry) I had no idea it was clicking the favorites icon star in the top left corner of my yahoo page…
then … finding the little orang tab and then clicking that button which is my favorites for rss and other feeds. Not until jsut now.
wheeew.

post this and see what happens
and I have lots of ideas for topics
ie
steamers … when why and how? does and don’ts.
How hot? how long?
Will someone with a lot of experience start a new blog on the forums for us about scream–I mean steam! LOL
This little Perfection I got yesterday–blasts away two feet. The one I got eight years ago for $100–barely puffed out enough to iron a crease out of a shirt.
hope all that helps.
And so having said that–I will be careful what I choose to steam so I don’t staret a new, mini nest across the room.
🙂

HI Willo,
The forums are up and kicking and looks like you’re there too. Start a new topic on steamers, by all means, and I will move it to a new forum (maybe call it techniques?)
