Priscilla,
If I were you, I'd read the FAQs and learn more about spotting bed bugs at the earlier stages of life (when they're quite small and can be white, or red, or brown), as well as their eggs. Learn about black specks and cast shells. Also read and follow the instructions to protect your mattress. It won't keep you from getting bed bugs, if you have them, but will keep them off the mattress (or in it, if already there.) I'd also get some freshwater Diatomaceous Earth (DE) and puff a light coating around the bed frame, in corners and cracks, baseboards, etc. It's a non-hazardous natural substance that may help at this stage, since you have no evidence they came home with you. I'd inspect and deal with your suitcases somehow. The travel FAQ might help for that.

I was aboard the Dawn during the showing of the Fox News show about bed bugs. Unfourtunatly I was a victim of bed bug bites. Not knowing thats what it was I simple thought I was bitten by sand fleas at Hondorus. I even killed a bug in our room not knowing what it was. This was our honeymoon and now I am tramatized and in fear I brought these things home. We washed all our stuff and put it in the freezer but, not till friday it sat all day god only knows if these critters crawled out and are in my house. I am so freaked out right now and angry! Not to mention I am coated in bites about 50!

Hi Dan!
I am sure other cruise lines are affected--like hotels, I don't think the brand matters.
